CRAB CAKES INGREDIENTS
1 pound jumbo lump (blue claw) crab
1 large egg
3-4 oz. mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon old bay seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 oz. chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 sliced of white bread, crust removed and cubed
1/2 cup plain panko canola oil, for cooking
Instruction
Beat egg in a bowl and season with salt and pepper and
Add cubed white bread and blend into egg
Add Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and old bay seasoning and blend into mixture
Add mayonnaise, parsley and lemon juice and continue to blend in mixture and bread down white bread cubes.
Add Jumbo Lump Crab and gently fold into mixture
Add panko or breadcrumbs but not to much want to keep the mixture moist, yet make sure it binds together.
Make cakes and refrigerate for 30 mins
Add oil to pan and brown on both sides about 3-4 mins each side on low heat.
Serve with Remoulade Sauce and or Lemon or nothing at all... they are GREAT!
QUICK REMOULADE SAUCE INGREDIENTS
½ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon old bay seasoning
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instruction
Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix together... DONE!
